Notre client est présentement à la recherche d'un mécanicien industriel pour leur usine de Metcalfe (située au sud d'Ottawa. Horaire rotatif JOUR/ SOIR, du lundi au vendredi.
Our client is currently looking for a Industrial Mechanic on a day/ night rotating shift for their Metcalfe Plant (located south of Ottawa), Monday to Thursday.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
You will be mainly responsible for the following:
-Perform preventive maintenance and maintenance on equipment.
-Perform mould maintenance and repair
-Develop and look for equipment upgrade to improve equipment liability.
-Work on special maintenance projects.
-Participate to new project implementation.
-Perform maintenance and operational training.
-Follow-up on inventory spare parts.
- Communicates to competent persons any abnormalities or faulty situations in regards to the product, quality, machine, equipment, workplace or other.
-Participates to the plant department housekeeping.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Certified electro-mechanical, Industrial Mechanic or Millwright
CWB (Canadian welding Board) member will be an asset.
Technical or College Diploma in Industrial mechanic
At least 5 years of relevant experience in industrial mechanic
Safety oriented
Excellent problem solving skills
Excellent team work
Demonstrated skills in industrial mechanic (hydraulic and pneumatic), electrical and welding
Capability to read, count and write without difficulty
